The European Groupings for Territorial Cooperation HELICAS, AMPHICTYONY, EFXINI POLI, are the result of the cooperation of ten (10) Municipalities, two (20) Regional Unions of Municipalities, four (4) Universities and two (2) Chambers from Greece, Bulgaria, and North Macedonia.
In the context of their activities, with the support of important bodies of the Local Government from Greece, bodies active in territorial cooperation, and with the co-organization of the University of National and World Economy of Sofia, they organised a conference under the title: “Territorial cross-border cooperation in S.E. Europe, the institutional vesting and the role of financial incentives”.
The conference took place on 18 February 2023 at the premises of the University of National and World Economy in Sofia.
Mayors, Deputy Mayors, Municipal Councilors and officials of the Local Authorities, members of Rectory Authorities and academic officials, representatives of the Chambers’ Administrations as well as their officials and representatives of non-profit organizations active in territorial cooperation were invited to participate.
