A particularly creative and productive period for ARTION Conferences & Events is reflected through a series of significant scientific and professional events across Greece, Europe and South America, opening new pathways for international collaboration and greater global outreach in the congress and events industry.
ARTION’s international activity began in April with the XXII International Society for Animal Clinical Pathology Congress in Curitiba, Brazil, bringing together participants from 17 countries and highlighting the importance of scientific collaboration and global networking in veterinary clinical pathology.
In May, the 2nd Greek–Turkish Joint Neurosurgical Meeting took place in Chios, with the organisational support of ARTION, bringing together distinguished neurosurgeons from Greece and Türkiye. Just a few days later, Heraklion hosted the European Molecular Biology Organization (EMBO) workshop, “Dendrites and Beyond – Properties, Function and Contributions to Network Processing”, a high-level scientific meeting that fostered dialogue among researchers from 21 countries and highlighted Greece’s potential as a destination for international scientific events.
ARTION’s international presence continued with the successful organisation of the 18th Congress of the European Federation of Sexology in Lisbon, Portugal, where leading scientists and professionals from across Europe exchanged knowledge, presented innovative research and engaged in meaningful dialogue, showcasing the diversity and dynamism of the scientific community in the field of sexology.
A particularly important milestone in ARTION’s international presence was the successful organisation of the World Congress of the Hydrocephalus Society – Hydrocephalus 2026 in São Paulo, Brazil, held from 31 July to 3 August. The congress brought together 315 leading clinicians, researchers and healthcare professionals from 29 countries to exchange knowledge, share the latest scientific developments and advance dialogue in the field of hydrocephalus.
The success and international reach of these events demonstrate the strength and expertise of the ARTION team, whose dedication and commitment contributed to the seamless delivery of each project and to creating meaningful experiences for participants from Greece and around the world.
At the same time, as part of its commitment to international networking and continuous professional development, ARTION participated in the IAPCO Annual Meeting in Athens, under the theme “Odyssey Reimagined”, while also making a strong presence at IMEX Frankfurt, one of the leading international exhibitions for the meetings and events industry. Through inspiring presentations and targeted business meetings with international organisations, convention bureaus and MICE professionals, the team strengthened existing partnerships, established new connections and explored opportunities for future events.
