The 13th Hellenic Senology Congress in Thessaloniki with international participation
200 participants from 18 specialties specialized in treating breast problems, along with seven invited speakers from Europe, USA and Middle East, arrived at Thessaloniki to attend the 13th Hellenic Senology Congress that was organised from 20 to 23 October 2016 by the Senologic Hellenic Society. Breast cancer is the most common cancer for women worldwide and the number 1 cause for their death. The congress covered all scientific fields of Senology, showcasing its possibilities and achievements that arise from the collaboration of colleagues from diverse specialities with the common goal of a better and more comprehensive approach for women and the few male patients. The Congress offered the attendees the opportunity to participate in a fruitful dialogue by exchanging ideas, sharing valuable experiences and good practice, as well as expanding and enriching their knowledge.
As the conference coincided with the month for raising public awareness for breast cancer, a Pink Tie Gala dinner was organized to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Senologic International Society. ARTION Conferences & Events was the official PCO of the medical Congress.
